Women's Hunting and Sporting Association was founded in 1998. It started as a small group of women who were passionate about making other women feel comfortable learning male dominated hobbies.
Our members meet on the first Tuesday of every month at Wern Valley Sportsman's Club in Waukesha County (unless otherwise noted in the events calendar). Many other events and activities happen outside of our regular meetings, mostly in southeast WI.
Anyone who shares our values and is interested in outdoor activities can join Women's Hunting and Sporting Association. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and ages.
Anything our members wish to experience and educate themselves about, we will ensure to make it happen! Examples of activities we have done are canoeing, hiking, paddleboarding, ATVing, bowfishing, flyfishing, bird hunting, archery and other shooting sports... the list goes on! What would you like to do?
We welcome guests to our activities for a small fee of $10. Alternatively, you are welcome to visit one of our monthly meetings. Come and meet the fun group!
Keeping costs down is important to us, as we want every woman to have the ability to join in the fun. We have a low yearly membership fee of $30. Some guided activities have additional costs and will be discussed when they are planned. No activity has a requirement to attend.
